Salman Khan to host Bigg Boss 14 with a TWIST

Big Boss is one of the oldest running reality shows on the Indian television and is all set to return this year with it’s 14th season. Dabangg actor Salman Khan is all geared up to host the current season and will start shooting in September.

A report by an entertainment daily states that Salman Khan, who has been at his farmhouse in Panvel before the lockdown was announced, is getting ready to move into the new Bigg Boss house.

Salman Khan has been hosting the controversial reality show since it’s fourth season and is on board for this season too. The show is expected to kick-off in two months.

As social distancing is the latest buzzword everywhere, apparently, Bigg Boss makers are planning to take advantage of that. According to reports, they are looking to introduce social distancing as a new feature in the forthcoming season of the show.

Furthermore, the Bigg Boss house might have a jungle theme this year. The current season of the show, reportedly, will comprise of only celebrities and no commoners like last year. However, technicalities are still being worked on due to the ongoing pandemic.

With Salman Khan onboard and the team has started talking to prospective participants. Among them are popular television actors, Vivian Dsena and Nia Sharma, and actor Shekhar Suman’s son Adhyayan. Apparently, Sushmita Sen’s brother and actor Rajeev Sen was also said to have been approached, but he quashed all reports in this regard.

Bigg Boss 13 was a huge success last year and it resulted in an extension of the show too. All the celebrity contestants earned tremendous fan responses and it was one of the most talked-about seasons. Sidharth Shukla had lifted the winner’s trophy followed by Asim Riaz, who became the first runner-up.
